Description

The T100 telescope, featuring a 1.0 m mirror diameter, is designed for wide-field multi-color photometry and astrometric observations. It is situated at the Bakırlıtepe Campus (latitude: 36°49′27″N, longitude: 30°20′08″E) at an altitude of 2500 m. The telescope achieved first light on the night of October 7, 2009. Operated via control software on a Windows-based system, its focal plane is equipped with two filter wheels, each containing eight slots, a Spectral Instruments 1100 series 4K×4K CCD, and an SBIG ST402M CCD camera for tracking corrections. The T100 telescope model, ACE RC1.0, has a focal length of 1000 cm, an f/10 focal ratio, a resolving power of 0.11′, and a focal scale of 21″/mm. Contact person: Hasan H. Esenoglu
